Robert Edwin Hand of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Sunday 1-6-19. Bob was born in Columbia, AL on 9-23-35 to Claudine and Bernard Hand.
Bob was a 1957 graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Industrial Management.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carol Watford Hand of Lawrenceville, GA; his son Mark Hand (Judy) of Winchester, OR; daughter Tracey Holden (Mike) of Snellville, GA; and 5 grandchildren: Rob Holden, Kate Chapman (Hunter), Mary Holden, Steven Roberts and Nathan Rust.
The Family will welcome friends at Smoke Rise Baptist Church in Stone Mountain, GA on Saturday 1-12-19 at 10am for visitation and service at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring to honor Mr. Hand can make a contribution to the Alzheimer’s Association or their favorite charity.

I have always enjoyed talking with Bob and you at church. Our acquaintance stems from a time several years ago when you were one of my deacon families. You have my sincere condolences at this time of loss. Know that I will pray for your peace, comfort, and provision during your time of grieving.
Carol and family, So sad to hear about Bob. We are proud to have known you and Bob over the years and to call you friends. We remember going out to eat and movie and even a trip we took together to middle Ga. Glad you were in our SS Class.

Carol, I was so sorry to learn of Bob’s passing. I have many fond memories of being in the Sunday School Class with you and Bob at Smoke Rise Church. I pray that God will give you and your family peace and comfort in the days ahead.
