Robert Gourley, age 85 of Duluth, GA, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents; Thomas and Margaret Gourley, son Brian Gourley, and brother Barry Gourley. Mr. Gourley is survived by his wife of 58 years Irene Gourley of Duluth, GA; son Barry and his wife Terri Gourley of Lawrenceville, GA; and brother, Stewart and his wife Margaret Gourley of Australia; several nieces and nephews. Robert was an avid biking enthusiast. Graveside services will be held on Friday August 21, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. from Gwinnett Memorial Park Cemetery in Lawrenceville, GA. The family will receive friends at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA. 770-277-4550 on Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Bob was a remarkable person. I enjoyed the years of riding with him (and the Ramsey crew). His stories made me appreciate his years of cycling especially in the cold Pennsylvania elements. My sympathy for the family.
