An earthly father. A mild and gentle man well loved by his children and family, just as he loved the Father. Leon, you are healed from all this world’s ills now and are home with our Lord. We, who are temporarily left behind will miss you, but take comfort that the Lord has welcomed one of his faithful home and that you now dwell in the complete peace, joy and love we are taught is ours in Christ. We rejoice in your life and in the knowledge that we will see you again one day. “Oh, Glorious Day!”

Dear Polly & Family, We are so saddened to hear of Leon’s death. The highlight of the Carswell Family Reunions was to know that you and your family would be coming to North Carolina to Mom & Dad’s for the weekend, each August. The bond that developed between our family and yours was truly a special relationship. My Dad truly considered Leon one of his dearest friends. We will be praying for you and your family.

Dear Cousin Polly & family
I just have learned of Leon’s passing today 1-9-14 I have had medical problems still with my feet etc, as I had planned to visit you both again at the assisted living. I know it is hard not to have him with you physically, but now that he is with our Lord, he is rejoicing, and is patiently awaiting a reunion with you, whenever the Lord says it is time to reunite, Love you
