Annajean Walker Roberts of Atlanta, died October 28, 2013. A homemaker, she did not work outside the home after the birth of her children but engaged in in various community activities and services. She was very active at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, and was a member of the ECW chapter of St. Elizabeth-Ann as well as heading up the parish prayer chain for a number of years. She was also a member-at large of the Daughters of the King. She sang with the Atlanta Choral Guild and was active in the League of Women Voters and Senior University. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Edward Graham Roberts Graham, and 3 children, daughter, Galer Roberts Dobbs and her husband, David Dobbs; son, Edward Graham Roberts, Jr. Ned and his wife, Nancy Lybrook Roberts; and son, John Boykin Roberts and his wife, the Rev. Susan J. Latimer; and 3 grandchildren, Franklin Latimer Roberts, Hugh Latimer Roberts, and Ellen Lybrook Roberts. A memorial service will be held on Monday afternoon, November 4, 2013 at 2pm at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church, followed by interment of her ashes in the memorial garden on the church grounds. Immediately following there will be a reception to greet family and friends. Those wishing in lieu of flowers may send donations to The Alzheimer's Association or donate online at alz.org or to the Endowment Fund of the Daughters of the King.
