Robinn Lee Rogers,70,of Buford, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 20, at Peachtree Christian Hospice after a long and valiant battle with cancer. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church, Lawrenceville, Georgia where she volunteered with various ministries, including Grace Arbor. A native of West Virginia, she received her undergraduate degree from Marshall University and her graduate degree from Georgia State. She was a counselor for many years in Gwinnett County. She is survived by her brother, William W. Rogers, of Lusby, Maryland; niece, Brooke Ware (Robby) of Leesburg, Virginia; nephew, W. Erik Rogers (Ashley) of Charleston, South Carolina; great nephew, Hunter Ware; and numerous cousins and friends. A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, May 24, at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 395 West Crogan Street, Lawrenceville, Georgia, 30046 with reception immediately following at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Arbor, PO Box 2127, Lawrenceville, Georgia, 30046.

  1. Our thoughts and prayers are with Robinn’s family at this time. She was a wonderful person, a faithful Christian and a brave warrior. She is already missed.

  6. We knew Robinn for years through her work at Creekland and she worshipped at our church. She was always so positive and encouraging to students and parents. She was loved by many and will be missed. We will be out of town on Wednesday and are saddened to miss her celebration of life. Our prayers are with you William and your family.

  7. Such a beautiful person was my friend Robinn. Her positive attitude and friendly spirit will be missed. I pray for comfort for the family. I know Robinn is rejoicing in heaven.
