Rosalinda Agustina Visbal
May 6, 1932 ~ December 2, 2022
Rosalinda Agustina Visbal, age 90, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her children. She was born in Oriente, Cuba on May 6, 1932 and then immigrated to the United States in 1944 to Manhattan, New York, where she was raised. She was married to Gilbert in 1949 and raised their children in Wantagh, NY until moving to Florida and eventually settling in Georgia.
Rosa is survived by her sister, Florinda, her five children, Linda (Mark), Allen (Kathy Lawrence), Lizy (Tom), Betty (Bruce), Wayne (Kathy de la Wayne), 12 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and even great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert, of 64 years, her parents Juan and Mera Acevedo, and her siblings Leo, Johnny, Benny, Bertha and Nelly.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and playing many games, especially Dominoes and Trouble. The little ones always put a sparkle in her eye and left a smile on her face. She could also always be spotted on the dance floor at all of the family functions. She will be greatly missed by us all.
Service will be officiated by Matt McMinn
The family will receive family and friends beginning at 5pm on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 and a life celebration will begin at 7pm in the chapel.
A private burial service will be held on a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests to make a donation in Rosa’s name to the Alzheimers Association.
