Uncle Maury, maybe I shouldn’t type this for the world to see as I did have other uncles, but you were my favorite! You were always so affectionate and supportive. I knew I could count on your counsel — I trusted your wisdom, intelligence, and advice. And, I truly appreciated the way you loved my spirited Aunt Mae — now, you will be with her again. You are in my heart forever, I loved you so very much, your niece Judy
I loved seeing Maury at the 8:00 service at Cannon UMC. He always gave the best hugs! I appreciated his smile, his laugh, and the way he took up time with my son. When I last saw him, I thought about asking him to have lunch with my family, but we all got busy after the service and he left before I got a chance to ask him. The Capps family will certainly miss seeing our friend on Sunday mornings.
