Ruby Johnson Head, age 92 formerly of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away Thursday, January 23 2014. She was a member of Grayson United Methodist Church, avid Georgia Bulldog fan, and loved doing word puzzles. She is preceded in death by her husband; Charlie Frank Head and Son; Daniel Thomas Head. She is survived by Son; Richard Douglas Head of Douglasville, Georgia, Daughter; Mary Head Shortman of Brunswick, Georgia, Eight grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. Funeral services are 2:00pm Sunday, January 26, 2014 at the Wages and Sons Stone Mountain Chapel with Dr. Dan Parker officiating, interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford. The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 1pm until the funeral hour. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church 4027 Hamilton Mill Road, Buford, Georgia 30519.
