Salena Arnold passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at the age of 91.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ewell Arnold; parents, Virgil & Eula O’Shields and siblings, Troy O’Shields, Kate Ledford, Christine Owensby and Lois Turner. Salena is survived by her 5 children, Aleshia Daniels, Regina Webb, Angela Joslin, Renee & John Taylor, Arenda & Mike Schultz, 11 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.

She was a Gwinnett native and a member of North Metro First Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00PM on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Wages & Sons Funeral Home, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway Lawrenceville, GA 30046. A visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00PM on Friday, March 3, 2023 at North Metro First Baptist Church with a Funeral Service to follow at 1:00PM. Dr. Frank Cox will officiate. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.

I’m in Florida and will miss the service. Glenn will be there to represent the family. Know my thoughts and prayers are with you all. She will be greatly missed but welcomed home by many who loved her.

MRS. ARNOLD WAS A BLESSING TO MANY FOLKS ESPECIALLY THOSE OF US THAT GREW UP ON PLEASANT HILL Rd. Had many sleep overs there. She was a Saint for putting up with so many of us. Many good memories! Love and prayers to all of the girls and there families.❤️????????????

I just learned of Salena’s passing, I was fortunate enough to have known her throughout my growing-up years and then later to marry into the O’Shields family. I deepest sympathy to you all as you mourn and celebrate this wonderful woman’s life.
