Regina Marie Sams, age 86 of Lawrenceville, Georgia passed away on July 23, 2011. She is survived by her children, Sandy Marks and John Sams; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 1:00pm at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel with Deacon A. B. King officiating. Interment will be at Gwinnett Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Regina O. Sams memory to the American Cancer Society. Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville, 770-277-4550. Oma was a beautiful woman inside and out. She will always be loved and missed. She once told me to think of her when ever I saw a butterfly. I will think of her as my butterfly angel in heaven. God Bless!

I have the fondest memories of visiting Ms. Sam’s home with my step-sister, Jamie Light. She was a brave, wonderful woman and an exceptional mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed. My deepest condolences to the family.
