Arthur Richard Sandberg, 65, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away Friday May 20, 2011 at his residence. Survivors include his wife, Rosane Sandberg of Lawrenceville, GA; Son, Patrick, of Chicago, IL; Sister, Joan Hunt of Chicago, IL. Arthur served in the U.S. Coast Guard and graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Masters in Audio/Visual and was a member of the Delta Chi national fraternity. Services to be held in Paxton, IL at a later date.

I was very sorry to hear of Dick’s passing. I also served in the Coast Guard and enjoyed sharing stories with Dick. My sincere condolences.

Each year the Gwinnett Amatuer Radio Society remembers one of its own in the Dacula Memorial Day parade. This year we will honor Dick. We will remember his service to the country and to our club. He will be missed
Dick, it was a pleasure knowing you. I hope to see your “rosy red cheeks” up in that big golf course in the sky one day.
Sorry to hear of the loss of Dick. We spent many hours playing together as I lived down the alley from him in the same block. Just wanted to express my sympathy to the family. We go to Atlanta frequently to see our daughter and family.
