Mrs. Sandra Kellar Walker (Sandy), age 73 of Sautee-Nacoochee, GA passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2020 after a long battle with ovarian cancer. She was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Clyde Louis and Dorothy Virginia Robinson Kellar. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Sherrie Beauchene, Jerry Kellar, Ronald Kellar, Patricia Kellar, Cathy Phillips, and Vicki Reece.
Sandra was a retired pattern designer in the garment industry. She was a member of the Tri-County Shrinettes Club and the Daughters of the Nile. She enjoyed many different types of crafts throughout her life. Most recently jewelry beading as it took her mind off of her cancer diagnosis and chemo treatments. She especially loved spending time with her family.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her husband of 58 years, Tommy Walker, Sr. of Sautee-Nacoochee, GA, her children Lynn Rappe (Jeff) of Gainesville, GA and Tommy Walker, Jr. (Diane) of Winder, GA, her grandson Eddie Wiggley (Whitney) of Gainesville, GA, granddaughter Elizabeth Puckett of Atlanta, GA and her great granddaughter Dixie Wiggley of Gainesville, GA, great grandson Lane White of Newborn, GA; and her sisters Bobbie Lanier (Richard) of McDonough, GA and Janice Cohran of Senoia, GA as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Wages and Sons Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, GA. The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 1:00 on Saturday, August 8, 2020. Her great nephew Bradley Taylor will be officiating the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Sandy will be greatly missed but we do know she is no longer in pain. We will keep the family in our prayers.

We are extremely saddened to lean of Sandra’s passing. Both she and Tommy have been very good friends through the last 30+ years. Our prayers are for the whole family for peace and healing in the days ahead.
