Sanjiv was a really great guy. Loved working with him in Edison NJ. He was always full of fun and had fantastic work ethic. My heart goes out to his family.
Sanjiv was kind, funny, and driven. His love for his family was unconditional. He was not only my work partner in Edison, he was my friend for over 34 years. My heart breaks to hear of his passing. My love goes out to Anita, their 2 children and the family. He will be truly missed.
Sanjiv… what an impact he had on so many people! I worked with Sanjiv in UPS finance for many years… and when I think of him I always remember his laugh, his positive energy, and his volume.
My heart aches for his friends, family, and all of the UPSers that he impacted throughout his career. You are in my prayers.
Sanjiv always was a pleasure to talk with and be around. He will be greatly missed.
My friend I will miss you. I wish you excellent journeys in the afterlife. Too many laughs over the years to share here in this guest book, but I always enjoyed stopping to chat with you whenever we ran into each other in the hallway or café or airports or foreign cities over the past years.
God speed, Sanji, your friend Muskie.
Anita, Nikita and Neil – Sanji was one of a kind – which you know. I have worked with Sanji over the years in so many capacities, and in every one of them I always knew Sanji was going to be a great partner, and an even better friend. We have worked hard, long hours, and struggled over obstacles to make our projects/UPS better – and in all of that – we laughed. Laughter is how we get through the day – and Sanji knew that. The other thing I know – is how much he loved you. Even though I have never met you – I feel like I have watched Nikita and Neil grow up – because he talked about you so often. My heart is with you as you navigate without him.
Anita,
I am so sorry to hear. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the kids. Sanjiv was a great man…kind, compassionate, funny, driven and I could go on. I was lucky enough to work for him and with him for many years beginning during his time in Buffalo. He was much more than a boss…a true friend. We had so many laughs and good times together. The world lost a great man!!!
Dearest family of Sanjiv,
My name is Patti Humble, and I had the sincere pleasure of working with Sanjiv on the UPS Global Accounting Centers a few years ago. We traveled to Singapore and he was always such a gracious gentlemen. So very thoughtful of others at every moment. He has friends everywhere at UPS and has impacted everyone he has ever worked with.
I am so terribly, terribly sorry for your sudden loss of someone so dear. Please know we share your grief.
My heart goes out to Sanjiv’s family. I have such wonderful memories of Sanjiv and his laughter. I hope you all find peace and you are in my thoughts.
I have great memories of Sanjiv. I remember our lunches when he would tell me quality over quantity. He had great stories about his family. Glad our paths crossed. My thoughts are with his family.
To the family,
While I never was able to meet you personally Anita, Nakita, and Neil, talking to Sanjiv thru the years made me feel as if I had always known you. He was a dedicated UPSer and worked hard, but his love, pride, and joy for you was evident and he wasn’t afraid to show that. I worked for Sanjiv and I am thankful for the time that he invested in my life both professionally and personally. I remember many times he would start a conversation with asking about my family before it turned to any work topics.
In the earlier days he loved to talk about me being a Georgia Bulldog. I think I even taught him how to properly say Go Dawgs! It made for some good laughs later when he became the parent of a UGA student. What a man in so many ways and I know you will miss him dearly. Please accept my sincerest condolences.

Dear Anita – I am so sorry to hear about Sanjivbhai’s untimely passing away. It’s hard to think of the right words and though trite, time alone will help the healing process.
May his soul rest in peace. Om Shanti.
To the family of Sanjiv,
I had known Sanjiv for over 20+ years, from the East Region to Corporate. We talked many times over the years about work and personal issues as well. I had just spoke to him a couple week ago as both of us are working on the same project. He was as genuine as they come. A great, hardworking UPSer and even better human being. Taken from us too soon and I will miss him. While his voice has been silenced, he will forever be in our hearts and minds.
Dear Family Desai-
It saddened me deeply to hear about Sanjiv’s passing. He was such a loving, positive and uplifting person. He always spoke fondly of and how proud he was of his family. He will be missed by so many. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Anita,
I was so sad to hear about Sonji. I have fond memories when we were neighbors. Sonji was the life of the party. We were blessed to have known him. We were all UPS’ers. I remember the time Buffalo had a snow storm and the Town plow pulled him out of the ditch he was in his little red Honda. You Nikita and Neil are in our thoughts and prayers. Sending hugs and prayers to you during this difficult time.
