W.S. "Dub" Sarff of Dacula, GA passed away December 13, 2010 at Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, GA. He was born in Snicarte, IL on January 20, 1921, the son of Lowell and Essie Sarff. He is survived by his wife, Norma Sarff; son, William Ogden and his wife, Jacqueline; and granddaughters, Emily and Rebecca Ogden, all of Dacula, GA; sister, Marguerite Johnson of Peoria and now Petersburg, IL; several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind a dear friend who called him her dad, Kay Bradford, of Oklahoma City, OK. At birth, he was named with only the letters W.S. and was always called Dub by his family and friends. He was an avid hunter in his younger years and a successful businessman as an adult. Mr. Sarff was instrumental in the growth of the fledgling Amway business starting in the 1960's, and grew his independent distributorship to the Diamond level. Though he led a full life, being a father and grandfather were the achievements he was most proud of, and he was loved greatly by his family. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, December 16, and services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, December 17, at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA 30046, 770-277-4550.
