Mrs. Sarrah Turner of Stockbridge, GA passed away quietly in her sleep March 29, 2014 at her home. She was born in Birmingham, AL on November 29, 1920 to Charlotte Stokes Watson and Isaac Watson. Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years William R. Turner and son Bill Turner and Michael Turner. Sarrah was a life-long member of All Saint’s Episcopal Church in Atlanta and a member of Daughters of the King. She enjoyed gardening and reading. Sarrah was volunteer for Meals on Wheels in Stockbridge, and as a mother of five she was also a cook, chauffer, councilor, and part-time referee. She is survived by her daughter Martha and husband Dr. Mike Podobnikar, son Terry and wife Bonnie Turner and daughter Charlene Turner; and grandchildren Kevin Turner, Bill Martin, Lindsey Turner, Kathy Turner Goodstein, and Annie Turner; and by great grandson Kevin Goodstein. In lieu of flowers , contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Memorial service will be at 11:00 am Thursday, April 3, 2014 at All Saint’s Episcopal Church 634 W Peachtree St. NW Atlanta GA, 30308. Wages and Sons Stone Mountain Chapel. 770-469-9811
