There are no words to express our deepest sorrow at the passing of Aunty Shanta. We were so happy when she moved to Georgia so we could renew our friendship. We deeply regret that we did not have more time to enjoy her company before God wanted her elsewhere.
She brought joy, comfort and laughter at a time when my family needed it and we will always be grateful. She always had her love of God and Prayer to guide her and those around her.
Its with heavy hearts we extend our deepest sympathy to all of her family. We wish you guys peace and strength during this difficult time.
God Bless!

Please accept my condolences for your loss. I didn’t have the honor to know Shanta, but I can tell she was an incredible person.
May you rest in eternal peace along side with your life long partner aka pappie.
Over the years, I have always enjoyed chatting with my fellow Hague sister, Shanta, but our last conversation, just one week before she fell sick, impressed me the most. Ironically, towards the end of an hour long conversation, the topic of death came up and she said that “death is what we call the body after the soul leaves”. On that note she sent me to read the Bhagwat Gita, Chapter 2, Verse 20 for more clarity – where Lord Krishna said to Arjuna that “there is neither birth nor death of the soul.” May the journey of Sister Shanta’s soul gets closer and closer to moksha (the liberation from the cycle of birth and death). Leíla Sukhai Dwarka
Our deepest condolences to the family – our prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Condolences to the family left behind with memories – may she continue to live in your heart and through your stories keeping her memory alive! RIP Aunty Shanta

Aunty Shanta will be dearly missed by all of us. She was a beautiful person. She made everyone around her feel special. She was very loving, caring, encouraging and supportive.
Our mom looked forward to your mom’s phone calls as she would regularly connect all the sisters together. She was truly the glue that binds our family.
