Mildred P. Sheppard, age 93, of Conyers, GA passed away Thursday, December 13, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Sheppard and daughter, Joann Wallace. She is survived by sons, Henry Sheppard and wife Juanita, Hoyt Sheppard and wife Peggy; daughter, Joyce Brandon and husband Jimmy; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; several step-brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 16, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel with Rev. Clay Manley officiating. Interment will follow in Melwood Cemetery, Stone Mountain. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 unitl 3:00 p.m. at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel. 770 469-9811. My grandmother was a very loving lady.She loved her family and that is the reason she made it to 93.She fought with everything in her to stay with us but God was ready for her to come home. I have peace in my heart knowing that she is with her loving husband and my mother. I LOVE YOU MAWMAW and miss you so much already.
My sister was a very loving person.I will never forget when we were small kids she would always send us a big package for christmas through mail. Then later after us kids were grown ,we made many trips together She always mention her kids ,grand kids and great grand kids that she loved so much.She will be missed by all who knew her.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time. I have such fond memories of your grandmother. She was such a sweet lady.
