Born in: Philippines
Resided in: Georgia

Shirley Vibar went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at the age of 77. She was born on February 24, 1946 in Manila, Philippines. She moved to the United States in the 70’s and built a life in Virginia Beach, Virginia. And in her later years, moved to Georgia to be close to her daughters and grandchildren.

Shirley was a devoted single mother of four children. Her first priority was to raise up her children and grandchildren in the Lord. She was an Active member of The Ambassadors of Jesus Christ church and offered her time and talents serving people with the Love of Christ. She Graduated in Nursing at Manilla Central University and Worked in the medical field until she retired. She loved to travel, cook, read, journal and spend time with family and friends.

Shirley was a beacon of light — A Caring, loving, faithful woman of God. Her spiritual guidance and words of wisdom were a source of inspiration and comfort to many. Though she had many victories, the fight against cancer would be one of her greatest battles. Despite her illness, Shirley continued to praise Jesus and preach the Word of God to everyone. Shirley continued to live a life to the fullest making sure she spent every moment with her family and loved ones. We find comfort in the Word of God.
Philippians 1:21 which says “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.”
We know Shirley believed this whole-heartedly.

Those left to cherish Shirley’s memories are her children: JamieLee, Jalyn, JJ, and Shane, and Son-In-Law, Michael and her 8 grandchildren who were added to her legacy: Jasia, Michael III, Davionagh, Eriana, Anthony, Jazel, Alecea, Yaeco and great grandchild, Jaslene, with whom she all loved with her whole heart. She was also survived by Her sister, Nellie and brother, Richie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Laurencio and Concepcion Rabulan and brothers Donders and Homer Rabulan. She will be dearly missed by family, friends and her brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ.

Today we celebrate the life of Shirley Vibar knowing she is with the one who she dearly loved.
