SHORT - Robert H. Bob Lilburn, GA 8/31/1924 - 10/29/2013 Loving husband, father and grandfather, survived by brother Ray Short of Anderson, Indiana, son Robbie Short of Marietta, Georgia, daughter Betsey McGuire of Dacula, Georgia, and seven grandsons. Predeceased by his wife of 65 years Kay, daughter Sandy Allmond and son Jonathan Short, both of Atlanta, and brother Ralph Short of Greensburg, Pennsylvania. A graduate of Muskingum University, he piloted a B-24 Liberator in World War II, where he was a recipient of the Air Medal and the Distinguished Flying Cross. Services will be held Saturday, November 2, 1:00 p.m. at Wages and Sons Funeral Home, 1031 Lawrenceville, Hwy., Lawrenceville, Georgia, 30046 Express condolences at www.wagesandsons.com

Please accept my condolences on the passing of Bob. I’ve known him for 25 years Mt. Park pool and was recently at LifeCare of Lawrenceville the same time he was. He was loved by everyone, and we will all miss him.
