    The Doug Dempsey, Jr. Family

  9. Dan struggled his entire adult life to do the right thing and insure the well-being of his family. For this he should be applauded. Now he can relax.

  10. Words can not express the appreciation I have for my Uncle Danny; he not only praised all I have accomplished in my life but introduced me to many of the stepping stones. His hard work ethics was shown to me at a very young age. Working with him in the catering business encouraged me years later to open my own. He had a heart of gold that will never be forgotten. So many happy memories; Hasbrouck Heights with Rita are some I cherish forever. The value of family and sticking together is embedded within all of us. I must mention he was a wonderful brother to my mom and she will surely miss his daily phone calls. May he rest in peace and watch over all of us. Loving you always; Your niece..Tricia

  11. Uncle Danny, we all love and miss you so much. Im going to miss those talks with you about getting a job, working hard, staying healthy and how much you cared for me. I promise I wont let you down. By the way, I’ll neverrrrrr forget you breaking it down at the wedding lol and being that pain in the butt uncle when you drove in the jeep with me and Cait 😛 I love and miss you. Rest in peace ♥ we are way overdue for a family reunion !!!

  12. My Uncle Danny was one of a kind. His sense of humor was second only to his loving heart. I am grateful to have been his goddaughter and niece, even if he did nickname me “Witchy Hazel.” He will be forever missed. All my love.

  13. Being with my uncle Danny as a boy was always an adventure – I never knew where a Sunday drive might take us. As a man, I cherish the memory of my uncle’s spontaneity and the love that he showed his family.

  14. I miss my Uncle Danny very much. After learning of his passing I was instantly transported back to my childhood. Swinging on the chin up bar at the Bristol Building in Hackensack. Driving through the night down the shore finding nothing but no vacancies. I tell the story often of when he convinced Grandma we were going to his friend Simple Simon’s House. I love and miss my Uncle.. There’s nothing that compares to a hug & a kiss from Uncle Danny. I’ll get a pound of 50’s and 100’s for ya!

  15. To my dear brother, there are no words that can say how much I Loved you. I`ll never forget how you always treated your baby sister like a father. I always knew when you called me up and said Hi Leenie Bikini! that you were in a good mood! You were a good man and you will be missed. Though we were far in distance we were always together in our hearts. May you rest in peace.I Love you and will miss you so.

  16. Margie so sorry to hear about your loss. We do have great memories of Dan especially the one of him and Bob holding hands and going into the ocean, we will never forget.
