sirikone choummanivong

December 6, 1982 ~ June 19, 2020

Born in: Nong Khai, Thailand
Resided in: Grayson, GA

Sirikone Tony Choummanivong was born on December 6, 1982 in Nong Khai, Thailand, to Dalone and Bouavone. He received his degree from The Art Institute of Atlanta in 2005 and went on to pursue a successful career in Web Analytics for the next 15 years.

Tony, as he was fondly called by his family and friends, was a benevolent and selfless soul who did all he could to make sure those closest to him were happy at all times. He constantly fought for what was right and tried to impact the lives of those around him, positively and in his own unique ways.

Tony had many passions. From a young age, he developed his love for music, tech, food, and sneakers. He shared his passions with everyone he met throughout his travels. If you ever needed a restaurant recommendation or a hot tip on how to get those exclusive sneakers, he was your guy.

He spent the last few years of his life doing what he loved most; traveling, playing his favorite music, eating the best foods and collecting an extensive inventory of sneakers. He was, indeed, living his best life, all while sharing it with the people he loved the most.

Tony is survived by his parents Dalone and Bouavone, his sisters, Amie, Sandi, Audrey, Dari, his brothers, Andy and Cody, his nieces, Melody and Penny, his nephews Emrys and Jaedyn, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

We will miss you ,your smile your every being. God speed Tony this is your time to shine watch over the family. We love you and will greatly miss you????????????????????????????

  6. CandleImageYou were one of the first ones to befriend me when I moved to Atlanta in 2001 and one of the last faces I saw when I left Atlanta in 2018 – buying Jordans at a Foot Locker, of course. You were always willing to lend a helping hand when someone really needed it, and I was no exception. Your heart, your smile, and your laughter will be missed by everyone who has had the privilege of knowing you. Why this happened to you, I’ll never understand. You were the best kind of human being. The kind we need more of nowadays. But Heaven has undoubtedly gained an angel…and you’ll be missed by so many. Rest easy, Tony. Sending all our love to you and your family.

  7. CandleImageYou were my daughter in law’s brother who she loved dearly. Your smile lit up a room and you were always there for Amie Taylor Melody and Emrys. You will be greatly missed, but you’ll live forever in their hearts.
Grace and strength to all your wonderful family. Peace is now yours. ❤️

  8. CandleImageTony,

The impact and forever lasting memories you have provided us all has been shared the last few days giving us all some form of comfort during this difficult time. That’s something you always did best was comforting us and making us all part of your family. You were the most unselfish person I knew and you showed this through the love you had for each and every one of us. From the days of clubbing, funneling beer at the Grayson house, and just doing anything in life you always made the best of whatever we were doing as long as we were all together. It’s painful knowing I won’t be able to see you on your random visits to LA but you’ve left me with so many memories I always have a smile on my face when I think about you or hear your name. I will love you forever brother and I look forward to the day we get to see each other again.

  9. CandleImageThank you for always coming downstairs and say hi to me every single time i was at your house. I know My voice was so loud that it was hard to ignore ???? . 12. CandleImageDear Tony:

You will forever be an inspiration… I’ve never met someone one so humble and you’ve influenced me to look inside myself to do the same. You are a role model to many and deserved to be here more than I even do. It is clear that you’ve touched many lives and I’m happy that I was able to know you. When I see different corners of the world I’ll remember you and you’ll be in my prayers for years to come. You’ll live on through many…

  17. CandleImageIt’s been a little hard trying to go about my days recently without thinking that you’re really gone. You were supposed to take me to the new Ramen spot in Sandy Springs and we promised each other to travel to Korea and Japan together. You always had the brightest and warmest smile and always showed so much love when we saw each other. From Vision days 15 years ago and seeing you at Encore last couple of times, it just wasn’t enough. I wish I had spent more time with you and embraced you more in my life. The last heartfelt talk we had at your house about finding my passion again will never ever leave me and I will work on it as promised. Thank you so much for leaving such an impact on not just me but to everyone that you know. I will live my the very best and make you proud. My biggest condolences and thoughts and prayers to the Choummanivong family. Love you so much my dear sweet friend. I will miss you greatly.

  18. CandleImageTony, you touched so many lives and was always in good spirits whenever we crossed paths. My heart is heavy and still can’t fully comprehend that you’re gone. I just spoke to you last week so it feels unreal to me. I pray for your family and keep them in my thoughts. Fly high, brother. You will be sorely missed.

  19. CandleImageTony,

You will be missed. As i look at all the old family photos and reminisce on the memories we had, we are family. Last time i saw you was at my mom’s funeral and it felt like it was back in the days. You will always be my little brother. I will cherish those photos.

    Rest in peace little bro.

  20. CandleImageTony,
You will continue to inspire me and encourage me. You have had humility, passion and care in everything you have done. There has always been something about you that has made me smile and I will continue to smile when I think of you despite missing you so much. This is so heartbreaking to see you go. I pray God’s love and peace will surround your entire family and all that have had the privilege of knowing you.
    Lee

  21. CandleImageThanks for being a good friend/family to me and family. Your smile and laughter will be missed. Love forever.

  22. CandleImageTony, some of my favorite life memories are during our travels together. You were always the planner that made everything happen but also down for the random unplanned adventures. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to believe you’re no longer physically with us. I plan on continuing our travels, for you.

  23. CandleImageAi Tony,

I am still in disbelief that you are no longer physically here with us. You were always smiling, exuded positive energy and had the kindest soul. I always admired how humble you were and encouraging to others. You were a light to so many people, including me. You are missed immensely.

    Rest In Peace, brother.

  24. CandleImageTony will be missed by so many people. He was always so kind, welcoming, and thoughtful.
We wish we could be there with you family. We love you all so very much.

  25. CandleImageDear Tony, thank you for gracing this earth with your kind soul. We will never ever forget your laughs and the sweet memories you left for us to cherish. We will miss you very much Tony. Rest in peace. You are so loved.

  26. CandleImageI cannot fathom what your family is going through..because as a friend I feel such a loss..
I know what will bring me strength is seeing you in the little things in life; like the good food you like to eat, the places I travel to, the friends and memories we now share and hold forever.
I don’t think I’ll ever stop missing you..
    I love you..
    until we meet again

  27. We haven’t known Tony as long as his other friends. But if Gil,Cam and Yuta vouched for him, he was as good as family to me too. He impacted us right away with his kindness. The first time spending time with him, he didn’t thing for one moment, but was able to capture moments of my proposal. Thank you Tony for that. We wish we spent more time with. You will be sorely missed, but never forgotten. Your memory and essence will live on in all you have touched.

    Rest in Greatness ????????

  28. CandleImageHey Brother,

Still remember the first day we met. Ever since then, I have always known you to be the awesome person that was down for anything. Such an easy going, happy soul you were. I always looked forward to hanging out whenever we had the chance to. This all ended too soon.

Thank you for being you. Rest in peace my man!

  29. CandleImageI am praying for your family, and I am so very sorry for your loss. Amie, I love your family so much.

  30. CandleImageOur hearts a heavy. Our nephew Tony you will be missed. I know we were not close in living but close at heart for sure. We love you and will miss you. I’m sorry that this happened to you. Thank you for leaving your infectious personality for us to remember. The positivity that you spread, and your smile/laugh will always be with us. I’m fortunate to have met you, and spent years getting to enjoy moments I won’t forget.

    Love always. Fly high. <3

  32. CandleImageTony,

Thank you for being so kind and welcoming. We were able to share so many great memories in such a short amount of time and I’m truly grateful that we had met. There’s not a single bad thing I can say about you, as you would go out of your way for others, and I’ve always admired how you would always stood up for the right thing. You had a heart of gold and that comes rare. You have made such an impact in so many lives. Tony, you will be missed dearly. Rest in peace, friend.

  33. CandleImageThank you for being a good person. Every time I got to see you, we always shared a smile. You’ll be missed.

  34. CandleImageTony, I remember the time when you went out of your way to meet up with us in Hawaii to have dinner with us. Thank you for recommending the cornflake crusted French toast from Koko head cafe. That was our all time favorite food in Hawaii and we went back several times all because of you. Thank you for taking my suggestions for food places and trying them when you went back to Hawaii. Also for trying our favorite snack from the family food mart in Tokyo. I knew I could count on you to try something when you didn’t have to. Your sweet smile and kind soul will be missed. I hope you eat all the good foods in heaven. You will never be forgotten. I love you.

  35. CandleImageDear Tony,
We’ll cherish all of the memories we had together. You were truly a genuine, kind-hearted individual – one of a kind. You will be missed but your spirit lives on through all of us. Rest in peace brother. Love Richard and Mindy

  36. Tony, You are one of the kindest friend I’ve ever known. I always enjoyed our time together. I hope there’s good music and mosh pits wherever you are. Much love, Kenney and family.

  37. CandleImageTony, I’m still in disbelief…in my memories you will always be the sweetest guy with such a great sense of humor. I remember the days we were out at the clubs, bars, or just eating at Hotpot, we always had mini convos that were interesting. I will always remember these times. You will definitely be missed, may you Rest in Peace.

  38. CandleImageRIP Tony. I didn’t know you for long, but you were an amazing light in everybody’s life. You will be greatly missed ❤️

  39. CandleImageI was blessed by having the opportunity to have crossed paths with you. You were kind, fun and encouraging. You lifted my spirits when I was down and gave me hope when I was frustrated. In the short time we got to know each other, we shared a lot of laughs, stories and even shared some deep conversations. I pray for your family and your friends during this time, may God watch over them. You are truly missed friend.

  40. CandleImageTony, you are one of the most kind friends I have ever known. You created an amazing positive energy everywhere you went. I hope there’s good music and mosh pits wherever you are. We will keep passing along your good energy. Much love, Kenney, Angela, Otto, and Bowie.

  41. Tony this still feels unreal to me. It’s been years since I’ve seen you but it still feels like yesterday. I still remember how we first met, and how you tried to warn me about chasing this one girl who was trouble, lol. I still remember how you made the flyer for the first club party we threw, A-Town Productions’ website, the times our car crew and yours chilled at Stone Mountain bbqs and car shows. It’s been a blast reminiscing all those fun times the last few days with mutual friends I haven’t talked to in a good while. Always thought you were one hella cool guy my dude. Just like many others, I’m gonna miss you bro.

  42. CandleImageTony, you were the epitome of an amazing man. Your very presence spoke volumes in any crowd. Everyone respected and adored you, so naturally, it was hard for anyone not to feel the same after meeting you. You were a leader and taught many lessons. You must have completed your mission and purpose here because now the universe is yours to continue your beautiful work. We love you Tony, and you won’t be forgotten.

  43. CandleImageThough I haven’t had the opportunity to work closely with Tony the past 7 years, I have heard only good things about his work. We, at Softcrylic, enjoyed his teamwork and friendship for several years. When I think of Tony, two things comes to my mind: his smile and candor. He will be greatly missed and remembered forever in our hearts.

Our condolences to Tony’s family and friends.

    RIP our friend – Tony.

  44. CandleImageThank you Tony for your kindness. In the short period of time we got to know you, you’ve left such a huge impact on us and we’ll never forget you. Cupid will never be the same. Love you and miss you. Rest in Paradise my friend ❤️

  45. Tony,

Words can’t express how deeply saddened I am, and how heavy my heart has been since I heard about this tragic news. You are such a kind, gentle soul, and you will forever leave that impression. The laughs, the smiles, it will always be something to remember.

    Love always. Fly high.

  46. CandleImageTony, thank you for always welcoming us into your home when us parents wanted a cool place to hang out with their children lol. Club Grayson will never be the same. You always had the best towels in the guest rooms too. Please rest easy, with much love, -Tim & Tana

  47. CandleImageI cannot fathom the loss your family must feel..because I know how much loss I feel as a friend..
I know I’ll find the strength and comfort in seeing you in the little things; like all the good foods you love to eat, traveling to places you love, all the memories we were lucky enough to share and the frenmily we now have.
I don’t think I’ll ever stop missing you..
Thank you for being a part of my life, I love you..
    Until we meet again????

  48. CandleImageRest easy my boy! You are definitely missed and loved by many ???????????? #illission4ever

  49. CandleImageI may not know you as personally as the rest of the family, but I believe that you had the heart of gold your family was blessed to have. It is terrible to know how you suffered, and I believed it was all too soon. From looking at your sister’s stories of you playing music for the household to knowing you were those group of big kids dumping pots of water at kids when Laos new year back in the early 2000s. haha. This moment seemed to be uncalled for. And we all hope you will shine a light for your family to know they are not alone.

  50. Ai Tony,

I have so many memories growing up with you. We had the best childhood. You will be missed and I’m forever grateful for the time that was spent with you.

  51. CandleImageMuch love to you Tony and family. I am completely devastated you are gone too soon and with so much more life to live. I am honored we are able to help send you home, even if we can’t be there physically with you’re family we are here virtually, spiritually, and always in our hearts.

    Much love,
    Dell

  53. His Journey’s Just Begun by Ellen Brenneman

Don’t think of him as gone away
    his journey’s just begun,
    life holds so many facets
    this earth is only one.

Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.

Think how he must be wishing
    that we could know today
    how nothing but our sadness
    can really pass away.

And think of him as living
in the hearts of those he touched…
for nothing loved is ever lost
and he was loved so much.

  54. CandleImageAi Tony,

There are very few people in this world who truly put others before themselves and you were definitely one of them. You will be missed dearly by all.

  56. CandleImageTony,

I was shocked it was you bro, but god has a plan for all of us. I remember you welcoming me into your place along time ago and there was plenty of food, alcohol and gambling. The good ol days. Say hi to Pep-C for me and I’ll see you later.

    Until next time,
    Andrew

CandleImageIt was indeed truly an honor to have met you even just for a short while we are able to share a laugh and a happy memorable experience I thank our common friend Daniel for allowing that joyful time to happen. I have prayed that you have a easy and joyful journey into the afterlife where your spirit will live on and shine
The same way Chine here on earth. Until the day we all meet again may you have peace as you rest in paradise my friend.

  58. CandleImageTony,

I am very sadden that you are no longer with us. Our families grew up together and we have so many childhood memories. We will miss you dearly, your laugh, your smile, just your self-less person you were. You were there for us when dad and mom passed, and it hurt me that I couldn’t physically be there for you. I love you brother. May you rest in paradise.

  59. CandleImageTony, you were always such a pleasure to be around, positive vibes always. I will always remember and cherish the times we spent together and I know you will continue to shine bright on us forever and always!!

  61. CandleImageTony,
Bro, I was sadden to hear this. Growing up during our high school days was a great adventure while it lasted and I will still remember giving you the name “toe knee”. You will be in my heart, be missed by so many but never forgotten. Rest in peace and look over us. Take care and we’ll meet again.

  62. Tony

It was my privilege to work with you. Thank you for being part of my team. I will miss your kindness and your enthusiasm, and your love if travel. Godspeed, then, until that day.

  63. My teacher, my inspiration, my friend, my brother. Your biggest goal in life was to bring everyone together. During these dark times, everyone felt defeated and many lost their sanity. Leave it you to do the impossible and bring people back together during a pandemic. You always find a way. The memories will never fade. I love you forever and will never forget you.

    Jerry Siphavong

  64. CandleImageBig bro,

We miss you so much. There are so many good things to say about you and you’ve touched so many lives. Until we meet again brother, I’ll always keep you in my thoughts…

    Rest in paradise brother.
