Louise Stephens, age 90, of Conyers, GA, went home to be with the Lord on September 28, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband William H. Stephens and her sons, John and Mel Stephens. She is survived by children, Joel Stephens and wife Perrie Lynn, Carolyn Powell, Sara Ann Flateboe and husband Jim, Charles Stephens and wife Camilla, Melba King and husband Steve, Fred Stephens and wife Laura, twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, brother, Roy Campbell and her twin brother, Louis Campbell. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 30, 2011, 3:00 P.M. at Zion Baptist Church in Stone Mountain with Rev. Steve King and Rev. Lanny Myers officiating. Interment will follow at Melwood Cemetery. Our mother loved flowers but she loved children more. Mom would be glad if, in lieu of flowers, donations are made to Children?s Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation, Gift Processing, 1687 Tullie Circle, Atlanta, GA 30329, designate car seat fund. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2:00 ? 4:00 and 6:00 ? 8:00 P.M. at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain. 770 469-9811.
