Mrs. Sulochana Guler grew up in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. She obtained her master’s degree in literature from Mysuru University and continued to teach English with passion until her retirement. She loved classical Indian dance “Bharatanatyam” and played Indian classical instrument “veena”. She trained her daughter in Indian classical music and dance and was very proud to see her daughter win state-level awards and accolades. In 2016, Mrs. Guler relocated to Atlanta, GA. She enjoyed Indian cooking, gardening, and loved taking care of dogs. She always enjoyed preparing delicious Indian dishes from scratch every day!
Mrs. Sulochana Guler passed away on Friday May 3, 2024 in Atlanta, GA and she was 84 years old. She is survived by her daughter, son-in-law, younger sister, and extended family of nephews and nieces. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Mrs. Guler’s name to Youluckydogrescue (http://youluckydogrescue.org).
