I’m glad I got to meet such an amazing and strong woman! I’m thankful for all you did for my sister and niece in being their mother-in-law and booma! You were an amazing mother to your children as well! What stood out the most was your ability to speak your mind but at the same time joke and laugh! I’m very thankful I got to spend a little time with you when Aiden was born as it had been a while. You’ll be missed dearly!
Condolences to the family of this amazing woman. I never met Elaine but I know she was amazing, kind and thoughtful from hearing about her over the years from my friend Connie. I hope that sharing your beautiful memories will provide some comfort.

I would like to extend my sincerest condolences to the McFarlin family during this most difficult time. May you find comfort in the promise that our Heavenly Father has made: ” And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing. ” 1Corinthians 15:26. Tears of sorrow will be replaced with tears of joy. Until then may you continue to draw strength and comfort from Jehovah, family and friends.
Susan was my “out of town” Mom for the last couple years and I feel lucky to have known her. She Mae me laugh and we called her then”Job Whisperer” because she always knew when we were going to get the jobs we wanted. I always had fun with her and I know this will be hard on Kelly, because her Mom was her life. I love you Kel and if you or your family need anything please don’t hesitate to call!
My deepest, heartfelt sympathy goes out to my best friend Tonya & all of the family. Hard to believe it’s been 30 yrs since I dropped by your house with Kevin & met the rest of you…your mom was very nice to me always. & she was funny. I know she will be missed & I am so happy that Jesus is her savior..we will meet again some day…fly high susan!! ——‘Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.’—
Matthew 5:4
We met Elaine many years ago through her sister, Connie, in Texas. We had the pleasure of spending time w/Elaine and her daughter, Kelly, throughout the years when she would come to visit with Connie and her family. It was easy to see right away what a caring, funny and very special person Elaine was.
She loved her family dearly and would do anything for them. One of our favorite memories of Elaine, is of her smiling and dancing all around the dance floor in a beautiful bright flowered dress at her niece’s (Kris and Jeff) wedding in Texas.
Please accept our prayers and condolences and find comfort in remembering all the guidance, strength and love with which Elaine touched your life. Those memories will always live on in your hearts.
We are so sorry for the family’s loss. We are good friends of Kelly’s, and know what a wonderful woman her mother raised.
Please know our thoughts and prayers are with the family. We are here for you in this difficult time.
All our Love Shannon & Maarten
My deepest sympathy to the McFarlin family. I know that it is a difficult time right now, but the loving memories of your loved one will forever be in your hearts. I am Kelly’s supervisor and I will continue to give her the support that she needs. Her mom was her greatest joy.
