Wade Theuerkauf, a beloved husband and dear friend to many, passed into eternity February 28, 2013 at the age of 67. He was a graduate of Mentor High School in Ohio, obtained a bachelor's degree from Northwestern, and a Master's degree from Arkansas State. He flew KC 135's for the US Air Force during the Vietnam war, going to the "danger zone" several times, and surviving, to the joy of those of us who loved him. He had a very long career with Fairbanks Scales and won many awards throughout the 31 years for excellence and superior performance. He was honorable and professional in every way.
He will be missed desperately by his surviving wife, Lin M. Rima, as well as by his favorite "babies", Sabina, Sheba, Sophia and Sydney. He is also survived by cousins Dennis, Gwen and family in Cleveland Ohio, as well as Paul and Ulla Preising in California. As well as a great group of friends and colleagues, who knew him and loved him.

Wade was a man of his word and respectful of all. A true American filled with love for his fellow man.
Our loss is heaven’s gain. I worked with Wade for almost 3 years at the corporate office. He always had a kind word to say. I will truly miss his pleasant voice and gentle nature. My prayers are with the family.
His smile won easy friends, his honesty kept them as friends. As friends we depart to miss forever his smile.
Our heartfelt sympathy, Hilde & Claus
Although I never met Wade, the one time I spoke to him by phone, I could tell what a gentle man he was and I know how much love he brought to my dear friend Lin’s life. My thoughts & prayers are with his family & friends.
we attended school together from grade 3 until graduation. Wade was deeply loved and respected– honest to a fault, an exceptional citizen and the dearest friend anyone could want. I remember one time he gave an organ recital– his music was as wonderful as he was.My deepest sympathy to his wife and family– and all who knew and loved him. May the shamrocks gently fall…
Wade our dear friend passing way too soon will be missed during our 50 year of celebration from the graduating class of 1964 from Mentor High School in Ohio. Rest in peace dear friend.
Wade was a good friend and an amazing intellect. He sat behind me in almost every class in high school. Discussion with him was always lively and challenging. He will be missed.
I am so sorry to hear about Wade’s passing. I have many wonderful memories of him from the class of 1964. I especially remember his kindness as well as his “brains.” Wade was one of the smartest in our class.
