Thomas Bernard Dempsey III age 68 of Stone Mountain, passed away December 23, 2014. Born in Atlanta Georgia on September 7, 1946, he was the son of the late Thomas Bernard Dempsey Jr. and Ophelia Nunn Dempsey. He retired from Gwinnett County Transportation Department as an Inspector, also a member of Stone Mountain First United Methodist Church. Surviving is twin brother Bob (Diane) Dempsey of Buford, and Jack (Rev. Lisa Dempsey) of Douglasville. Also Nieces, Tasha and Dr. Jonathan Carr, Melissa Dempsey, and Dr. Amanda (John) Ridgeway, Great Nephews, Spence, Michael, and Jared Thomas Carr. Memorial Services will be held 3 PM Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Wages and Sons Funeral Home, Stone Mountain Chapel. The family will receive friends at 2 pm prior to service.
