TODD, RAYMOND EDWARD ED, 86, entered his heavenly home on June 2, 2012. Ed was born in Waycross, Georgia on January 19, 1926. He was predeceased by his parents, Raymond Marcus. and Annie Maude Burgess Todd. Mr. Todd is survived by his wife of almost 63 years, the former Peggy L. Head and daughters, Shirley Herren Stanley of Bethlehem, Connie Bailey Greg of Loganville and Joyce Bagley of Buford. Five grandchildren, LeAnn Herren Doyle, Mark Herren, Jason Shutley, Samantha and Jessica Bagley. Four great grandchildren, Kaylee and Victoria Doyle, Brendon Shutley and Tristen Conley. Mr. Todd has one sister, Annette Wellborn Ken of Sautee and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ed graduated from Boys High School in Decatur in 1944 and immediately entered the US Navy where he proudly served in World War II for the next 2 years. Upon getting out of the service, he went to work in the refrigeration business and took colleges classes at night. In 1950 he went to work with International Harvester as a salesman in the Albany, GA area through 1953. Beginning in 1954 he worked in the car interior business, including 42 years ownership of Custom Craft Seat Cover Co. in Decatur and Tucker, until his retirement in 1999. Ed loved to fish. He traveled to Florida on many occasions with his friends on deep sea fishing trips. Traveling with his wife and family was among his favorite forms of entertainment. Many Thanksgiving, Christmas and summer months were spent traveling with all the family to places like Gatlinburg, Daytona Beach and Panama City. Mr. Todd's memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 5:00 o'clock in the afternoon with family and friends gathering at 4:00 o'clock for remembrances at Wages & Sons Funeral Home, Lawrenceville Chapel 770 277-4550. No burial is planned. The family's request is that all wear bright colors and casual attire to celebrate Ed's life. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Lung Association, 2452 Spring Road SE, Smyrna, GA 30080, or the American Diabetes Association, 17 Executive Park, Suite 115, Atlanta, GA 30329-2012.   1. Ed was a good man who loved his family and his pets more than any man I have ever known. If you ever had a chance to meet Ed you would never forget that big smile and his laughter. Ed, Peggy and his daughters always made me feel welcome and a part of their family.
    They are a family that laughs a lot, talks over each other and the most loving group when they all get together. They owe all those wonderful traits to Ed and Peggy. God Bless you Ed I know you are looking down on all those who loved you and I know I was blessed to have known you.
