Tyrone Cornelius Byfield

Tyrone Cornelius Byfield was born March 7 in Spanishtown, Jamaica, West Indies to Leila and Sanford Byfield who preceded him in death. He was raised and educated in Spanishtown and would go on to graduate from St. Jago High School. He later accepted a position at the Records Office where he worked alongside childhood friends. “Bygo” as he was affectionately called by close friends and loved ones was a fun-loving, charmastic, family (friend) oriented, compassionate fearless go getter. He eventually left his hometown and a resided in Corona, Queens, New York where he worked for Prudential Securities , a brokerage firm for over 30 years winning several awards for his service to the company. In 2002, he retired from Prudential to reside in the South finally ending up in Dacula, Ga where he departed this life on August 18, 2016. He leaves behind his wife of 32 years Jasmin Byfield, two daughters Simone and Deena Byfield, son Marvin Byfield, sister Dorett Byfield, two brother Ronald and Carlton Byfield (who preceded him in death), a loving grandson Adrian O. Blash (Deena) and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many sorrowing friends and loved ones. Tyrone was a remarkable man and he will be truly missed. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel with Pastor Joseph Allen and Chaplain Donna Gunter officiating.
