Lewis "Dale" Vandament, 84, of Lawrenceville passed away August 15, 2011. Dale was a veteran of WWII and served in the Army, he worked with American Motors for 20 years and retired from Hayes Chrysler Dodge. He was preceded in death by brothers, John W., Paul, Omar K., and Herbert P. Vandament. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Melba Vandament; children, Nicolas Dale Vandament and his wife, Pamela of Lawrenceville, Donna Gail Reese and her husband, Terry of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Danny Denise Vandament of Buford, GA, Nicole Brad Murphy of Norcross, GA, and Blaine T. Reese of Orlando, FL; six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 11:00am at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel with Dr. Lamar Holley officiating. Burial will be at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville.
