Viet Hoang

viet hoang

Viet was just 53 years old when he passed away on 02/28/2022 at his home in the presence of his family. He was born on January 18, 1969 in Ba Xuyen, VietNam to Thong Hoang and Cam Thi Phuong Tran. He came to United States when he was just six years old and spent most of his life in New Jersey until he moved to Georgia and has resided there in Hoschton, GA with his wife and children until his recent passing.

Viet graduated from Rutgers University with a BS in Computer Science and received his MS in Information Systems from Steven Institute of Technology. He was very close to his family, his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. He was truly a family man as he loved his wife and children very much and always made sure they were happy and well provided for. He loved sports, especially soccer and football and enjoyed watching many different types of movies, listening to all genres of music (but especially loved listening to the group Modern Talking) and also loved to take trips with his family. He was a diligent worker who was loved by his colleagues, but he also made sure that there was time in his life for family, especially for his wife and kids.

Viet was a loving brother, friend, father and husband who was humble, kind-hearted, and treated everyone with love and respect and he was loved by all whose lives he touched. He brought out the best in all of us who knew him and while he will be missed greatly, each of us who knew him will have lasting memories that will forever be in our hearts. Our consolation is that he is in a better place now in Heaven with God and will be looking down on all of us.
