Sara Frances Gouge Wade, age 81, of Grayson, GA, formerly of Stone Mountain, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday July 2, 2013. She is preceded n death by her husband of 53 years, Spanky Wade, her Mother, Father, Two Brothers and a Sister. She is survived by her Daughter, Tracie Wade Schultz, Son-in-Law, John Schultz, three Grandchildren, Kelly, Matthew and Kristen Schultz, all of Grayson, Sister, LaDelle Gouge and Sister in Law, Betty Gouge, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A Graduate of Stone Mountain High School, she lettered in Cheerleading and Basketball, Frances was employed by Continental Insurance Company until she married the love of her life and stayed home to raise her family. She was a member of the Golden Girls, a group of friends she has had since high school. She was a member of the Stone Mountain Women's Club, Stone Mountain Elementary School PTA, and Stone Mountain First Baptist Church. She loved the Georgia Bulldogs and was an avid fan. Frances was a loving wife, mother, and "Granny" and loved her family more than anything else. Mrs. Wade will truly be missed by all of her loving family and her many wonderful friends. Funeral Services will be held Saturday July 6, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Wages & Sons Chapel with Dr. Lamar Holley officiating. Burial will follow at Stone Mountain Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday July 5th from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel 770 469-9811. Express condolences at www.wagesandsons.com
