William John Walsh, Jr., 76, of Dacula, GA passed away on July 12, 2013. Born in Jamestown, NY on July 16, 1936, Bill graduated from Jamestown High School class of 1954 then attended St. Bonaventure University before enlisting in the United States Army 1955-58 where he was stationed at Walter Reed Hospital as dental lab technician.
He was predeceased by his parents, William Walsh, Sr. and Mary Alice Smith Rae. He is survived by his loving wife Elaine Card Walsh of 55 years; his brother David Margaret Walsh of Trophy Club, TX; three sons, Christopher Marguerite of Lawrenceville, William Elaine of Sandy Springs, and Thomas Cheryl of Buford, and nine grandchildren: Kathrine, Jeffrey, Andrew, Erin, Jonathan, Margaret, William IV, Alexander, and Olivia. During his career, Bill was the regional sales manager for Sheraton Hotels and Holiday Inn; however, his most satisfying work came from his 16-year career at Dacula High School where he was employed as a campus supervisor. He enjoyed his grandchildren, watching the New York Yankees, hockey, reading, and playing golf. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Wages & Sons, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA, followed by funeral services.
Thinking of you at this difficult time. Mr. Walsh was such a sweet and caring gentleman and he will be greatly missed.
