william croft

William Albert Croft Jr. (79 years old) was surrounded by family as he went home to be with Christ on June 8th, 2022 in Atlanta, GA. He was born on July 24, 1942 and was from Crivitz, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents Jennie and William Albert Croft Sr. He is survived by his 2 daughters Amanda Croft (Tucker Blair) and Miriam Piede (Adam Piede).  He is also survived by his 5 brothers and 2 sisters; David Croft (Maryann), Albert Croft, Pat Croft (Rose), Mike Croft (Kathy), John Croft (Penny), JoAnne Croft, and Mary Ann Croft.  “Grandpa Bill” also leaves behind 3 precious grandchildren Pace, Zayah and Jake and many other nieces, nephews and extended family members.

William “Bill”, lived in Wisconsin for over 70 years before spending his later years with his daughters in Atlanta, GA. Bill spent his early life living and working on the family farm – Croft Farms with his parents and siblings. Croft Farms, and his time on the farm, was ever important to him throughout his life. He eventually moved to Madison, WI where he worked for UW-Madison, ran his own business and raised his family.

Bill had a passion for Science and held a PhD in Human Pathology from UW-Madison and also a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota. He spent much of his adult life deep into research, helping people and animals.

Being from Wisconsin, naturally, Bill was a huge Green Bay Packers fan and watched every game religiously. He also was a published author, had multiple patents and enjoyed nature. Bill had a spiritual side and always liked a good Sci-Fi movie. He was a fearless, generous, loving person and will be missed by many.
