William Curtis Rice “WC” age 70, of Grayson, GA. passed away August 7, 2020. WC was born in Atlanta, GA on May 19, 1950. He was raised in Stone Mountain, GA and served in the US Navy. He is also retired from the Gwinnett County Fire & Emergency Services after 27 years of service.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Robin Rice, and several nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late William Curtis Rice Sr. and Maude Rice of Grayson, GA.

I can remember working shifts with W.C. at the fire stations. He was such a good man that provided guidance to all those around him. He will truly be missed.

I remember W.C. fondly, worked with him out at Station 17, He taught how to dial in and use a baitcaster and making a mess out of the line. He always respected other and i enjoyed working with him

I’m sorry for the lost to the Rice family, while I never met FF Rice he gave this County and Department 27 years of dedicated service. For that the citizens and the Department are forever grateful. Rest in peace.
