A true example of Love ❤️
???????????? ???????? much love and prayers to you Linda & Jamie and family! What a wonderful man and friend he was!
There are people you meet in this life who make yours better. Craig was one of those bright lights.
We met Craig and Linda when we moved into the neighborhood and they helped us in many ways over the years.
I did have one issue with Craig’s “giving spirit” though.
One Mother’s Day I bought my lovely wife a dozen roses. I was very proud of myself.
As I’m getting out of my truck, I see Craig pull in and start walking over with what looked like a flower arrangement for royalty! Flowers I had to research on Google-level. The closer he got, the smaller my flowers became, and said (with a spring in his step and day-brightening smile) “Lee, these are for Myra – Happy Mother’s Day!” and walked off.
I walk into the house – needing both hands to carry the arrangement – and as I say “Happy Mother’s Day,” Myra looks at the flowers and instantly says “that is so nice of Craig” with a huge smile. She knew his business but more importantly, she knew his caring heart.
Note: I didn’t even get a passing “are these from you?” consideration.
He set a bar that I don’t think I’ll ever reach but, he and Linda are always in our thoughts as smiles always followed.
We’ll miss Craig but his giving spirit lives on with our family.
The Sharps – Lee, Myra, Colin, and Madeline
Another sweet testimony to honor Craig! Thank you so much for sharing this wonderfully funny story that describes exactly who he was!
RIP MY FRIEND
