  10. Patti, I am so very sorry. I know your heart is breaking – broken. Your mind is torn and confused. You are reeling. All of those feelings are okay. And however long you feel them is okay, too.
Know that even though it may feel that God has left you or turned away from you, He has not. You are still imprinted in His hand and He is mourning with You. Turn to Him and receive His comfort.
If I could, I’d be in the ATL tomorrow. Until I can get together with you, know that I am praying for you and grieving with you. Tell Mike to give you a big hug and imagine that’s from me.
    Love you, Girl.

  17. Patti, I’m so sorry for your loss! Loosing a child is the most difficult and traumatic event that a Mother has to endure. I can’t even begin to imagine the heartache and the pain you feel right now. Please, know that you were a wonderful and fantastic Mother. You were always there for him; listening with an open heart and mind. You taught him that he could come to you whenever he needed you. You provided the love, support, and guidance for him to grow into the man he is today. Sometimes, it’s difficult for our children to discuss the things that are hurting or bothering them, things that are going on in their life and world causing grief and great pain. Our children don’t want their parents to know they are in such pain. Never doubt yourself that you failed him at all. You are a fantastic mother. A Mother, that showed love, compassion, comfort, respect and taught him to dream and work hard for whatever he desired. He loved you so very much. My deepest sympathy my sweet friend. Please let me know if you need anything. My continued thoughts and prayers will be with you, your family, friends and many loved ones. Hugs surround you and give you comfort and peace as the days go forward. ❤️

  18. May God pull you all close as you seek Him in this most difficult time. So sorry for your loss
