Zettie Marie Lathrop, age 96 of Lawrenceville, passed away on March 26, 2018, peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman C. Lathrop, children Roy Roberts and Jessey Roberts. She is survived by her children, Raymond Roberts, of Cumming; Jewell Roberts, of Ball Ground; Joyce Dillard, of Lawrenceville; Brenda Skinner, of Bethlehem; Richard Roberts, of Cumming; and Nathan Roberts, of Orlando, FL. Sister, Callie Cruse, of Bessemer, Al; 23 Grandchildren, 38 Great Grandchildren and 17 Great Great Grandchildren.Funeral services will be held Monday, April 2, 2018 at 2 pm at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, with pastor Richard Wright officiating. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Sunday, April 1, 2018 from 4 pm until 8 pm. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wagesandsons.com

    So sorry to hear of your Mother’s passing. I know you did a great job taking care of her for several years. She will be greatly missed.

  10. I regret I didn’t know Zettie that well cause she and Grandpa got married when I was very young, but I do know Grandpa & her family loved her very much. Now they are reunited in spirit and watching over all of us. Nathan, I haven’t seen you much over the years since we were kids and yall moved to Florida, I’m so sorry for your loss, I just experienced it as well. I know your sad but remember her life & the good memories yall shared. Thats what we were given and will always have. Nathan, my prayers to you and all of your family. Zettie please tell my Mom & Grandpa I love them and miss them.

  11. I am sorry for your loss. God is the source of life and an enemy of death. His Word can help strengthen us during these difficult times. Acts 24:15 gives a wonderful hope of a resurrection for those we have lost in death. May God give the family comfort and peace in the days ahead.
