EMILY ZIVEC Services for Emily Zivec, 81, of Post were held at 1 PM Thursday, June 6, 2013 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Maddox officiating. Burial will be Saturday, June 8, 2013 in Melwood Cemetery in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Local arrangements were under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home. She died Sunday. June 2, 2013 at her home in Post. She was born January 30, 1932 in Kirkwood, Georgia to Emory and Doris Bradford Martin. Emily married Bob Zivec on December 1, 1962 in West, Texas. She was a nurse for Burlington Industries. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Caprock Cultural Association and the Concerned Women for America. Survivors include her husband, Bob Zivec of Post, 1 daughter Melissa and husband Doug Flanigan of Post, three brothers: Arthur Martin, Rema Martin and John Martin all of Georgia and two grandchildren: Datch and Haddie Flanigan both of Post. Pallbearers were Doug Flanigan, Kelly Baker, Michael Isbell, Drew Spencer, Darrell Reece and Delbert Rudd. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Brynne's Smiles or the First Baptist Church Christian School. Visitation was Wednesday from 6 until 8 PM at the Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 9 am until 10:30 on Saturday June 8, 2013, interment will follow at 11 am from the Melwood Cemetery Stone Mountain, GA
