To our lovely Narendra masa – this has to be a fave memory of your visit back in 2018. We enjoyed an unusually hot summer in England where we celebrated our numerous May birthday’s at an afternoon tea in soho. I will always remember your excitement at a day out in London which included:
– somehow convincing all the Harrods food hall staff to give you free chocolates “oh excuse me this is my niece please can she try a piece” – I’m pretty sure those were a tenner a chocolate hahaha
– walking through soho and settling ourselves at the bar in Kettners where you enjoyed a cheeky drink and shared your memories of living in London
– every time we went past Kentish Town, you trying to remember where you used to live
– most of all just your child-like, infectious enthusiasm which carried us through the day despite being hot and tired.
We will miss you dearly Narendramasa and we are so proud of the heroic fight you put up for years. You are an inspiration to us all. Thank you for always being generous, kind, wise and loving to all of us, and for taking extra special care of us (especially when we came to visit). Now I hope you enjoy some well earned rest and raise a little glass of something. Lots of love Sapna x
