Dinny Allen Anderson, age 53, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend passed away on Monday, October 1, 2012 at his home in Oxford, Georgia. Dinny is survived by his mother Sue Lee King and the late Larry King of Monticello, GA, his father, Wesley and Barbara Anderson of Stone Mountain, GA; brothers and sisters, Wes Tammy Anderson of Conyers, GA, Brad Patti Anderson of Wheaton, IL, Troy Linda King of Cleveland, GA, Randy King of Norcross, GA, Robin Chad Dupree of Conyers, GA Jennifer Archie Ballard of Jacksonville, FL, Jason Amber Minor of Stone Mountain, GA; several nieces and nephews. Dinny was a graduate of Stone Mountain High School. He worked at AT & T for over 30 years. Dinny truly loved life to the fullest. He loved sports and was a collector of sports and music memorabilia. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and watching his nieces and nephews at their events. Dinny brought joy and happiness to all who knew him. Flowers accepted or those desiring may make a donation to National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 1848, Longmont, CO 80502. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel. Interment will follow at Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 2:00 until 4:00 and 7:00 until 9:00 p.m.

  12. My heart is really hurting today. I have lost someone very dear to my heart. I will always remember and cherish our time together. It was such a blessing to reconnect with Dinny these fast few months. He was a sweet person and loved by many. I am praying for God to give strength and comfort to Wes and Sue and all of Dinny’s family. Dinny is healed now and I can’t wait to see him again in heaven.
