Betty Moon Britt (Grannie), age 80 of Stone Mountain, after fighting a long battle with cancer passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2015. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 in the Chapel of Wages and Sons Funeral Home. Rev. Billy Tison and Rev. Ken Magness, Sr. will officiate. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Tucker. She was preceded in death by her father and mother; Floyd and Sadie Moon, four sisters and one brother. Betty is survived by her husband of 61 years, Rayburn Britt of Stone Mountain; Daughters & Sons-in-law: Donna and Eddie Gant of Young Harris; Christy and Mike Dilbeck of Sugar Hill, Sister and Brother-in-law Vickie and John Davis of Newnan. Grandchildren: Jenny Gant and T.J. Anderson, Taylor and Katelyn Dilbeck and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 2 - 4 PM & 6 - 8 PM on Monday, June 1, 2015 at the Wages and Sons Funeral Home, 1040 Main Street, Stone Mountain.

Donna and Jenny, I am so very sorry for your loss. I know how much you will miss her. Our prayers are with you.
So very sorry for this passing, Donna it will never be the same after you loose your mother, but from what I can see from all of you she is so happy. I I didn’t have those beautiful thoughts about my own mother it would be more difficult, you will see her quite often in little things you come upon in life. My heart and prayers are with yall.
Revelation 21:4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.

We met Betty and Rayburn over a year ago playing Bingo in Snellville. I instantly took to them and consider them my family.
My heart and prayers go out to the family. Betty was a wonderful person and always had a smile for all. She will be sorely missed.

Dear Donna, Eddie, Jenny, and Rayburn: I am so very saddened for your loss. Betty was an incredibly sweet person. In losing her, I know all of your hearts are broken and lives will be changed forever. I know you all take great comfort in knowing she is with our Heavenly Father and is pain free and now watching over all of you. I can’t tell you how many images of her and all of you as I look back in my memory from being at A to Z Auction. As I smile, tears roll down my face. Prayers are with you all now and in the many months ahead. With much sympathy and love.
