Hattie Ellen Blackmon

Hattie Ellen Blackmon, 66 of Toney, AL, formerly of Lawrenceville, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Huntsville Hospital. Ms. Blackmon was employed by Wal-Mart. She was a devout Christian who loved Jesus. Although she will be deeply missed by her family, they know that she is happy to be in her heavenly Father's house. Ms. Blackmon was preceded in death by her parents, Lucy Ann Edwards of Social Circle and Marvin Wright Blackmon of NC. Survivors include two sons, Marvin Lloyd Morgan of Gainesville, and Mitchell Dionne Morgan, longtime resident of Huntsville, AL, currently residing in Norcross; one daughter, Michelle Morgan Mendoza of Toney, AL; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel at 3 o'clock. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
