Charlene Tilton Foreman, age 86, of Dacula, Georgia, passed away on January 3, 2024, after a short battle with cancer. Charlene, born in Tallahassee, Florida, lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments.
Charlene dedicated her life to the roles of mother, wife, and homemaker, bringing warmth and care to those around her. In the 1980s, she briefly worked as an inventory controller at Rich’s Department Stores. A proud graduate of Leon High School, Charlene held close ties to her roots.
Charlene’s zest for life extended to her interests and hobbies. She found joy in the art of cooking, relished dining out, and had a special fondness for country music and Nascar. The serenity of beaches and lakes brought her peace, and she cherished the simple joy of laying in the sun. Above all, Charlene adored her grandchildren, Eric and Cole, and her feline companion.
Known for her generous and giving nature, Charlene’s acts of kindness touched the lives of many. Her great sense of humor brought laughter to those fortunate enough to share in her company.
As a woman of faith, Charlene was a devoted Baptist, finding strength and solace in her spiritual beliefs. She was preceded in death by her husband, France L. (Pete) Foreman, her parents, and her brother Nelson Tilton. Charlene is survived by her loving children, Laurie Wehunt and Glenn Foreman, and her grandchildren, Eric and Cole.
A memorial visitation to celebrate Charlene’s life will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, January 7th, 2024, at Wages and Sons Funeral Home, Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA, 30046. A burial will take place at 9:00AM on Friday, January 12th, 2024 at Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive, Canton, GA 30114.

I met Charlene while working at Rich’s and we became life long friends. She was the nicest person you would ever want to meet. I had a lot of fun times with her and have wonderful memories of our times together. You will be sorely missed. RIP my Friend.
