Christy Lakatos Ireland, age 47, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and close friends on November 5, 2018 at Season’s Hospice & Palliative Care after a month long fight from an aneurysm. Christy was born in Pequannock, New Jersey to Carole and Bob Lakatos. She was a 1989 graduate of Osceola High School in Seminole, Florida. She worked for The Freeman Partners since 2001. Christy had a love for the outdoors especially at the beach or on the lake. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and lived life to the fullest all the time. Christy is survived by her step-father Richard Meredith, daughter Taylor, son Brandon, sister Denise Lakatos Pursser, brother-in-law Tony, brother Rob Lakatos, brother Tommy, brother Michael & wife, Cheryl and brother Billy & wife, Missy, nieces Sarah, Amanda & Megan, nephews Ryan and Logan. Christy will also be forever remembered by Wayne Moore and the many other close friends and extended family. Those who choose to make memorial donations in memory of Christy for the education fund of her children, can do so at the Celebration of Life which will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Apalachee Clubhouse located at 1001 Dacula Road, Dacula,Georgia 30019 from 1PM-5PM.   8. My heart is heavy with the sad news of losing our dear friend, Christy. The last time we spoke, Christy had reached out about a business opportunity and was wanting to find a way to help pay for her children’s college. She always wanted to do everything she could for her children!!!!

    She was such a fun, loving lady and will be missed by many!! I will miss seeing her at the lake – but know that she will be smiling down on us all- and she will always have the best tan!
