David Darnell Robinson was born May 11,1957 to David Robison and Florence Pickens- Robinson-Smith in Pine Bluff, AR. God called David home to glory on March 24, 2024, at the age of 66.
David became a Christian at an early age at Wheeler Chapel Missionary Church (Pastor H. C. Curry, in Pine Bluff, AR) Later in life, he became a member at the Beulah Missionary Church (Reverend Jerry D. Black) in Decatur, GA.
David graduated from Banning High School in 1975 and continued his education at L.A Trade Tech where he received his Associate’s Degree in Electronics. He worked as a Field Electronic Technician for over 40 years, and he really enjoyed his craft.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who cherished his family dearly. He met his wife Denise in 1979 in Los Angeles, CA, and they married on August 2,1982 and have been together ever since. They had 4 beautiful children and 4 grandchildren. When it came to his family, that was one of the most important things in David’s life.
David enjoyed spending quality time with his family. He loved to play dominoes, spades, and bowling. He was an avid chess player and was a big sports fan. He loved music, Jazz, Reggae, and Gospel. His favorite TV shows were Sanford and Son and Martin.
David was a very resilient man who faced many trials and tribulations., and despite the many obstacles thrown his way, he was able to overcome them.
David leaves to cherish his precious memories, his loving and devoted wife, Denise R. Robinson, his four (4) children, David A. Robinson (Wife Brea), Angel D. Robinson, Britney R. Robinson, and Crystal S. Le (Husband Huy), four (4) grandchildren, Christopher, Sage, Carter, and NyAsha, six (6) siblings, Ada Steppes, Johnnie M. Brewer (Husband Oscar), Loretta Stovall, Doretha Robinson, Roger Willie, and Christopher Jones, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
