Edwin was a devoted husband to Alice Ojwang, and a dedicated father to Jeffrey, Anthony and Aimee Ojwang. Edwin was the son of the late Manoah Ojwang and late Mama Abigael Ojwang of Gem Ukaya, Kenya. Son-in-Law to Peter Oduor Alego and Mary Goretti Oduor. He was brother to Shadrack Ojwang, the late Mary Okeyo, Joyce Osoo, Grace Ochiel, Judith Gaya, late Philister Ombogo, and Victor Ojwang.
He was uncle to Peter Ojwang, Daniel Okeyo, Millicent Osoo and Donna Gaya; Brother-in-law to Julius Alego, Anna Oduor and Judy Odhiambo -Otieno; cousin to Eric Ochieng.

Edwin, I’m still reeling in shock at your passing. I remember the last time I saw you and Alice at Grace’s house in Karen more than 20 years ago. What a wonderful day it was. May your presence in heaven make the angels smile as it did when you were here. Rest in peace brother till we meet again.

Edwin.,RIP. we met in the summer of 84 in Atlanta. where you were visiting Eric during your summer vacation and I was visiting my in law . we kept in touch when you returned to NJ and I to LA. A few months later you visited me In LA , after which i stopped communicating. You can imagine how shocked I am to hear that you have departed. I feel guilty that I never kept in touch ,though I am so happy to read all the wonderful things people have written about you and the impact that you made in their lives. I pray that your family and friends will find their peace and strength in Christ Jesus. That the cherished memories of the time you spent with your wife and kids will hold them up during their down time..Rest my dear friend in the bosom of the lord..

I am very shocked to hear Edwin has passed away. God has taken his son at his own time which we don’t have control of. He showed all the husband to his wife, Alice, and fatherly love to his three children. He showed friendly love, great personally, extremely humble which we all can learn from him and apply to our own life. May God give him the rest to Edwin and strength to his family who have experienced all the love and respect when he was around. God bless his family.
