Florence Ogrodowski, 90, a resident of Delmar Gardens in Lawrenceville, GA passed away January 26. She previously lived in Lawrenceville with her daughter and was a resident of Evans, GA. She was a long-time resident of Sunrise, FL. She was preceded in death by husband, Stanley T. Ogrodowski; sister, Mildred Van Kyrk; brothers, Matthew Campbell and William Campbell. She is survived by two daughters, Carol Oester and Susan Weber; and son, Tom Ogrodowski; six grandsons, John Oester, M.D., Dr. James Oester, and Alan Oester Jr, M.D., Jason Weber, Jonathan Weber, Justin Weber; nine great grandchildren; sisters Cecelia Lenza, Mary Nielson, Isabelle Campbell. Flo was born in Staten Island and later moved with her husband to Miami, FL for the Hotel Business. She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She was employed by the Eckerd Drug Pharmacy in Sunrise, FL for many years until she finally retired in her 70’s. A good cook, she always loved to feed the family, even making breakfast for the great grandchildren in her last years. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, 200 SE 1st St., Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131 and Crossroads Hospice, 1957 Lakeside Pkwy, Suite 500, Tucker, GA 30084. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with Father John T. Howren officiating. Burial will be at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
