Frederick S. "Teddy" Long

Frederick Sebastian “Teddy” Long, age 78, of Lawrenceville was received peacefully into the Lord’s arms on Thursday, March 21,2019 surrounded by his family. Fred was born to Russell and Regina Long December 17, 1940 in Foley, Alabama. Fred was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and very well loved throughout the community. A devout Catholic, Fred was an active member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Lilburn where he served as an usher for many years. He retired from Lucent Technology in 1996. Fred was survived by his daughters, Michelle Costantino (Cory) of Lawrenceville and Regina Cook of Summerville, Ga; grandchildren Jeff Cook (Abby) of Summerville Ga, Savannah Cook of Ringgold Ga, Katelyn and Kiersten Costantino of Lawrenceville Ga; great grandchildren Addison, Jaxon and Grayson Cook; brother Elmer Long (Paula) of Granite City, Il; and sister Mildred Long of Foley, Al. Fred is preceded in death by parents Russell and Regina Long; brothers Joseph, Emmett and Howard Long; and sisters Betty Zukowski and Winnie Proctor. The family will receive visitors Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Wages and Sons Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Ga from 6:00-8:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held Friday, March 29, 2019 at 11:00 am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Lilburn, Ga with final interment to follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park in Lawrenceville, Ga.
