Resided in: Lawrenceville, GA

Glenn R. Soles, Sr., Lawrenceville, GA was called home to our Lord on February 17, 2019, at the age of 64. He was born on November 4, 1954 in Loris, SC to Johnny T. Soles and Myrtle P. Williams. Glenn was a caring, funny and giving man who touched the lives of all who knew him. He was preceded by his parents, as well as his brother Nicky T., brother Allen Drex and sister Sandra Pearl. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Soles and their children, Julie and her husband, Nick, JR and his wife, Rachel as well as their grandchildren: Olivia, Caleb, Oliver, Elliott, Wyatt and Kate. He was passionate about his work in the IT field, loved scouting and his grandchildren. He was a true family man. He got great joy out of telling a good story and making his family and friends laugh. Spontaneity was his middle name. A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, “Grieve not for me”. Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls. I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin. Until the day comes we’re together again. Visitation will be at Wages and Sons in Lawrenceville, on Thursday, February 21, 2019, 5-8pm.
