Jagnaraine Gowkarran aka Jai born Thursday August 4th, 1949 in Handsome Tree, Mahaica Creek, ECD, Guyana. He was the 4th child of 6 children of Mr & Mrs Gowkarran. As a young boy, he enjoyed assisting with farming along with attending Little Baiboo School. In school, he mastered all his subject achieving CP and GCE. At age 16, after school, he worked at the Continental Factory. In 1969, he pursue a long term career with the Guyana Defence Force where he get to ranks of a Sergant. In 1992, he migrated to the USA. He resided in Lilburn Georgia and worked at Publix Supermarket. Jai, son of the late Gowkarran and Hardai; and brother of the late Bissoondyal and Latchmin , is survived by his wife Shanta, his daughter Mohini, his son Yadesh; son-inlaw Greg; grandchildren Nicholas and Jaden; his sisters, Devika and Jenny; his brother parasram; In laws; nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles; grandchildren; cousins; and lots of friends.

    Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. We are so sorry for your loss. I can imagine how painful it is for you. Having lost someone is a difficult moment of life, and I already experienced it. May God provide you the strength you need to cope with this at the soonest time.
